freud says what?

today's lyrics

Waits at the window, wearing the face
That she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?

Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles)

It would probably be a good idea for me to sit down, in silence, and get caught up on my sociology and literature reading. Considering that I have yet to read Beowulf. Which I would probably actually enjoy reading. I should also, probably, start on that paper for my social science class. Maybe.

Looking for a new job is proving to be extremely stressful. However, I would rather do almost anything else than what I was doing. Snake-wrangler and flight attendant are still two occupations I'm too phobic to perform, however. The fact that my old job is not handling my resignation well is probably not doing me any favors. Blech.

In other news, I successfully changed majors. And by successfully, I mean that I did not spontaneously combust. However, I am going to have to take eight psychology courses next year. In a row. In one year. With organismal biology, calculus, world cultures, and fine arts thrown in. I may, or may not, become a hysterical neurotic.
